DMCA Policy
Last updated: March 29, 2026
1. Overview
OmniGrab respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. We will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable intellectual property laws.
2. How OmniGrab Works
OmniGrab is a web-based interface that uses publicly available tools (such as yt-dlp) to resolve and proxy publicly accessible media streams from third-party platforms. Our processing servers function like advanced proxies:
- No content is ever written to disk — all data is processed entirely in RAM.
- Streamed media data is permanently purged from memory the moment the connection is closed.
- We maintain no download logs — we cannot identify who requested what, or when.
- We do not host, store, or cache any third-party media content.
- We do not circumvent DRM (Digital Rights Management) or authentication-gated content.
- We only resolve streams that are publicly accessible on the originating platform without login.
- We cannot control or remove content from third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.).
If you believe content on a third-party platform infringes your copyright, the most effective action is to submit a takedown notice directly to that platform.
3. Anonymity & Technical Limitations
Because OmniGrab has no download logs and does not store any session or user data beyond what is required to complete the immediate request, we are technically unable to identify, audit, or trace any individual user's download activity. This is by design, not circumstance — our architecture prioritizes user privacy.
As a result, DMCA notices addressed to OmniGrab regarding specific user activity cannot be acted upon in the way traditional hosting platforms can respond, as there is no stored data to review or remove.
4. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that material accessible through OmniGrab infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
Send your notice to: support@omnigrab.live
5. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or any judicial district if your address is outside the United States).
Send your counter-notice to: support@omnigrab.live
6. Reporting Abuse
OmniGrab cannot automatically detect abusive behavior because the service is fully anonymous and keeps no logs. However, if you witness or have evidence of systematic abuse of this tool, you can report it to us and we will do our best to act manually:
Please note: for general questions or support, use the same address.
7. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, OmniGrab has adopted a policy of terminating or restricting access for users who are identified as repeat infringers through means available to us. OmniGrab may also limit access to the service at its discretion.
8. Disclaimer
Nothing in this policy constitutes legal advice. If you have questions about your rights, please consult a qualified attorney. Because OmniGrab neither hosts nor stores third-party content, the most effective DMCA recourse is typically to contact the originating platform (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) where the content actually resides.
